No hijacking done...my friend...post away with anything...

    WOW...that's beyond friggin spectacular...

It reminds me of my old Tsukuda pro built King Kong with fauxx hair that I sold a few years ago...but this one takes the cake....Willis H O'Brien (Oakland native) should be proud.

SIDESHOW and Hot Toys should hire that guy immediately.

    I'm still reading that forum...

I just lost this Palisades Alien Queen bidding auction...I came in second...

Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Alien Queen Palisades Statue at the best online prices at eBay! Free shipping for many products!

I was going to go another extra $100...but eventually didn't, not only does it have a cracked tail (easy fix though)...but never liked the seller's shipping fee of $106, way too much, I know it's a HUGE box...but I checked Completed Listings...and all Palisades Alien Queen sellers were charging half that shipping rate.

So outta pure principle, I didn't go further...although, almost regretting it, because they can go for quite much higher...

Why do sellers have to be so greedy with these bloody damn shipping fees?

I personally think the Palisades Queen is just as awesome as the Sideshow Queen...

        SIDESHOW vs PALISADES...

The Neca Alien Queen is also a beauty, and much cheaper priced...

This one is more of an action-figure (the others are maquettes), posable, pretty cool. It's two main drawbacks...three inches shorter than either the Sideshow and Palisades...and has a top heavy body, meaning...you have to rest the figure with an included metal stand. It's also rubbery, not solid like the other two...

...and, there's also the old school classic Kenner Alien...but it's NOT a Queen...

I started an Neca Alien Queen thread in the Neca section...

15" in height, 30" long... I have a thread going on in the Modern Toys section, it's the Sideshow Space Jockey thread...started talking about Alien Queens too, ha... http://megomuseum.com/community/showthread.php?108761-Sideshow-Alien-Space-Jockey-Maquette&p=1280931&posted=1#post1280931 The

That's just crazy money for a figure that was released only a few years ago for $399...

I'm still more than happy with the Mcfarlane Queen.
The female figure is 7", to give you an idea of scale.

From a purely artistic standpoint the Palisades figure wins hands down IMO. It's much better posed, and the base compliments the figure. The Sideshow figure's pose is terrible...it hides her most distinguishing feature, her crest, while the stance isn't nearly as dramatic. The base is also very jarring aesthetically and the bright white and red distracts from the figure.

I'm going to have to agree with you...yes, I think the Palisades Queen trumps the Sideshow Queen, agreed.

I was so close on getting her, next time...

Good call and observation on the Sideshow base, the red/white is too distracting. I know Sideshow was trying to recreate the ship's cargo bay floor...where Ripley and her power loader fought the Queen...noble idea, but sort of a failure as a base, especially in contrast with the midnight colored Queen.

Is yours the one in this video (being compared to the Neca)?

I think she would have had a much better go at Ripley had she removed her 6" Jimmy Choo's. I guess Fashion comes before Fighting when one is Queen.
