I sold all of my 66 figures. Just getting out of hand with all the variants coming out and the prices for something like The Joker with a utility belt were just ridiculous. They had to go. I've been tempted to pick up the RC Batman though just for what it is.Comment

Why get rid of them all? Did you not like them much anyway? I agree with the rising costs, but with such a diverse group, if I decide I can't spend anymore on this, outside on the Catwomans, it feels like this is a pretty complete collection. I have already decided that I cannot get or want every variant, but I just choose not to buy them.
We all collect differently; just curious as to why those factors made you decide to dump them all.
Sorry for hijacking this thread! I look forward to eventually getting my RC '66 Batman.Comment

Cowl is obviously an improvement
Anyone notice how Bruce Wayne's eyes fit right in the spot they are supposed to? And theres not goofy chin thing like the Mattel Batman and Wolverine.
I am actually perplexed that there is a new Removable Cowl Batman and pics aren't flooded on the Mego Museum.
I often read about criticism in tooling here's one they waiting to tool with extra care and it shows!

^That looks really good! Is the cowl material softer vinyl? It seems to fit so nicely, and being able to tuck it into the cape completes the look very well.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Just curious, please don't take this wrong as it is not meant as a criticism.

The figures all went to a good home and the money was used to fund more figures. Everyone's a winner!
Am I sorry I sold them?... Not when I remind myself why I did in the first place.Comment

Cowl
I would say the cowl is in the ballpark as the original as far as texture. Has more detail obviously as the original was just blue mainly. Also I never could match up the eyes easy on the original there isn't an issue with that on this one. I dig taking the cape off too great wayne figure.Comment

It has a nice tight fit. His head is not nearly as large as the prototype. i have to rank him in the Mr. freeze, Mad Hatter, King Tut group as far as being in the top tier of the line. The larger size Utility Belt is an added bonus. I also picked up the removable mask Robin, which is also an improvement over the originalComment
