Removable Cowl Batman (with canvas shorts)

Everything is original Mego. He is complete (including original emblem). Batman's limbs are relatively tight. He seems to have the slightest amount of play wear. His nose has blue on it from the mask.

Send me a PM if interested and I will direct you to some pictures.

    $150 plus priority shipping

Joe... Is the suit stirrup? I recently picked up a Canvas Trunk batman but it wasn't a RC Batman.

      Kevin,

Every ones that I have seen (which is only 3) have either been later edition non stirrup suit rc or early t1 non removable cowl. So this guy does not have stirrups.

It's a transitional piece. From my understanding, the footies came first then the canvas shorts. I've seen two. Same thing.

I'm always a little confused by the nylon vs. canvas shorts. Nylon first?
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Nylon first. I imagine they may have ran out toward the end and substituted the canvas.

I don't think any have surfaced. There is an aquaman (but that is the black material).

For some reason - I don't think this material was a design change - for some reason - maybe they ran out of the nylon and just substituted this for a short time. Actually I have found (2) versions of the canvas - this one is the tighter weave. I guess they were using a lot of nylon with batman and aquaman combined. The red was just needed for Superman.
