I heartily disagree. That TV show sparked my lifelong love of Spidey before comics or anything else. Was it flawed? Yes, but it's still the first proper live action version we had and it's historically and culturally significant. I loved it then and I still do.

I'm a huge fan of the show, and of Marvel live-action of that period in general.

I'm hoping we don't get the Ben Riley costume that Toy Biz made for the Famous Covers line. The Iron Spider wouldn't be too bad, though.

FC did not do a Ben Riley. Regular Spidey, Black Spidey and Spider-Girl were all they did spider-wise.
