    Penny Dreadful Season 3 Trailer

Oof, looks as intense as ever. Looks like Wes Studi is taking over for Sembene, I'll still miss him.

Season Two was an improvement IMO, and Three looks to be great with some new characters.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

So my on demand system accidentally leaked out episode 1 of season 3 yesterday and I watched the whole darn thing.

I don't want to spoil anything but this season is introducing three familiar literary characters (all of them monsters) and where Mr Clare finds himself in the pilot is straight out of Mary Shelly.

Watched it last night on Showtime Anytime, great episode...and that final scene...Wow, just wow.

While i enjoyed the first season overall, I agree that the second season was an improvement.

I watched both seasons again over the past few weeks. Season 1 serves as a solid foundation for the main characters and Season 2 successfully builds on that foundation and has some very strong story lines/character development. After watching the new episode, it looks to me like this season is going to hit the ground running and take us on a delightfully demented adventure.

I watched the first episode last night, very strong start. I think my cable co has the 2nd episode on demand as well, will have to try and watch it today

Yeah I'm liking all the new characters especially their take on Henry Jeckyll.

I don't have Showtime, but I desperately want to watch this show. Saw a preview for season 3 last weekend while at a hotel with Showtime. Is it streaming on Hulu or any other services like that?

I, too, enjoyed season two more. Actually, I didn't make it through season one when it originally ran. I felt like I was watching the monster version of Once Upon a Time. Not sure what prompted me to give it a second chance, but I did, and went back and finished season one as well. Curious to see what happens this season with the new characters.

question about season 1 with some potential spoilers here

I missed season 1 altogether, but from what they showed in the previously on bit at the beginning of S2 and what was talked about through season 2 with Mina Harker and all, I thought S1 had dealt with vampires and Dracula already. So I was surprised by his appearance at the end of the first episode. if S1 didn't deal with the Dracula storyline, what was it about?

^2nd tier minions (2 or 3...don't remember exact count), and lower level subordinates. "The Master" was never identified nor discovered.

                              Spoliers.......

In S2 it's explained that there are two brothers born in evil seeking out Ms. Ives...one reigns in Hell, one reigns in the shadows on Earth.

S1 was the attempt of the minions of the brother bound to Earth to capture Ms. Ives (via subordinates ...primarily Mina) and deliver her unto "The Master".

S2 was the attempt of the resident of Hell to seduce Ms. Ives via the assistance of the witches directly serving him.

                              Hope this helps.
