That's the one I used and it worked.
You are spraying the head with Tire Wet right?

It needs the tire wet, I do believe.

You need the chemical reaction, and I don't think the dip does it. But I'm not a scientist, so don't take my word on it.

thanks barrett it says do it maybe 5 times too.it makes you wonder how people discover how to do things like this in the first place from doing something with a tyre to thinking if i dunk my grey mego head in this stuff maybe it will de-grey it.

actually it was a lucky accident. I wanted to make a mold of a robin head but had no silicone. I thought plasti dip would work. It didn't, but the process made the grey robin head I was using turn orange. Taking the plasti-dip off also took all the paint off the head. I thought a release agent would keep the plasti-dip from pealing off the paint. I didn't have any but had some tire wet laying around. I thought that might work and that less time would keep the head from turning orange. That worked out pretty well. I did an invisible girl and a 007 head I had and got good results. I still have that robin head, saw it recently and there's still an orangey sunburn on it.

that's great it's funny how trying out one thing you stumble accross something that works for something else it's like working in medicine .now just got to find out what the u.k. version of tyre wet is called.
