My understanding is that as long you don't copy Dynamite's designs there shouldn't be any issues.

Craig, if you ever need any character designs let me know. I've done dozens of Comic Book character designs over the years and self published a few. I always like to help out on a cool project.

Send me some samples of your work when you get the chance. I'm always on the lookout for new character designs.

Cool, I'l send you some stuff this weekend, I really like the products you put out so far and loved seeing your Buck Rogers prototypes at NY Comicon years ago.

Why not skip the domain worries and make your own characters like a Viking Line?

Yeah, Vikings are public domain, as are Templars, Corsairs, etc.

I would love a Viking non-Marvel Thor. In fact a line based on mythology gods, goddesses would be perfect for me, but I doubt it'll sell well to the general public. I do think a Ninja line will do well to coincide with the upcoming Daredevil. (Dark red outfits...hint..hint.)

I noticed the name Machiste here. As a fan of peplum movies I'd love to see a series of figures based on classic actors/characters from these films. Machiste, Ursus, Hercules, Samson, and Goliath are likely all public domain. The likenesses of the actors might be a hassle, so it might be best to sculpt something without that. If you are looking for material for a sword and sandal series, these films are definitely worth a look. What size were you looking at?

The stuff I'm working on now is for the new Adventure People line, so 4" scale.
