    I truly am in awe of how much cool Big Jim stuff they got in Europe in the late 70s/early 80s. One of these days I'm going to track down all these pirates....

    yeah, i never realized big jim was a huge hit overseas! i wished those playsets, vehicles, and super cool themes were released in north america!

        A lot of Big Jim ideas were recycled into MOTU, Mattel is big on that sort of thing.

          The bear rug is one thing but the buffalo head on a stick seems a bit over the top gruesome

            The Karl May Western series has some nice details and I love the pirates.

            Stateside, the BJ Safari Hut play-set is cool.
            WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.
