Was Bulletman ever sold with a silver cup?!

My older brothers swear that the Bulletman they bought when I was a baby had a silver cup. He still has it but to me it looks like a simple thimble for your finger.

Maybe I missed it, but I never saw one in any "mint in package" pics I saw on Google, etc. But I did stumble across this custom silver cup, so I assume this can't be a coincidence??

So, can anyone confirm this for me?

I remember that mine didn't come with a cup. Maybe it was something that was only available for a short time.

The custom above was part of a GI Joe convention and stated the cup was featured in the commercial but never sold. Still doesn't explain how my brother owns one unless he saw it and asked my Mom for a thimble. LOL

Bulletman had no cup. It's a thimble.

I've had both Hasbro and Palitoy Bulletman--no cup.

That's a JoeLanta convention DOB exclusive from this year--"imagine the great silver cup."

I took this straight to the top......I called my Mom.

Turns out my brother's memory is clouded. Mom claims he saw the commercial and immediately "borrowed" the thimble from our Monopoly game. Once I asked my bro about what she said, he basically said "Awww yeah.....so I did."

Sorry for the fuss. Now where did I put my Monopoly game?

Cute story. Ah, the tricks memory plays.

Now I want to go out and buy a thimble to accessorize my spiffy refurbished Bulletman...

I literally just swiped one from my monopoly game and set it next to him on the shelf.
