Her face looks better, but her hair and cape look worse. And then the size of her head is just nuts.

I just don't understand how Mego had so very few out of proportioned heads 40 years ago, but FTC is giving Funko Pops a run for their money.

Yeah, I have to say that head is really out of proportion here. I'm dialing back on these figures right now. Between pricing and quality, these are getting to be problematic. Easily the worse miss in this line. Unfortunate too since so many of us waited a good while for this. A Mattel body might fix one part of this equation, but the head scale is not fixable unless you replace with a custom sculpt, which negates the point of buying this at all once you start looking at other issues that need to be addressed.

              Ugly from head to toe.

I honestly wouldn't want that big-headed monstrosity if someone gave it to me for free.

Are you going to try and shrink the head a bit? Sometime back someone posted a pic of a Scarlett Witch he made using a Hasbro Charlie's Angels Kelly head. It looked very proportionate to the Mego body. When I asked him about it he said he dipped the head (just up to the hair line) in acetone to shrink it. Can't remember who it was but it came out great and with only minor paint touch up.

I guess even if you had to do a overall repaint, it may be worth it. On the other hand, with how long we have waited for this figure and the hard earned money we all spent, we shouldn't even have to be talking about ways to "fix" her.

Okay, the face isn't really any better either. She looks very jowely, which Yvonne Craig was most definitely not.

                        Man, what a disappointment.

Maybe this is a lost in translation issue, and someone in the plant thinks they're making puppets...

Either FTC is just not listening to its customer base, or the factory in China is unbelievably incompetent.

Now, as often as we have complained about and TO FTC's issues with the female heads, I just can't believe that they wouldn't do their very best to fix it. I mean really, how hard can it be to keep the heads in their proper proportions?

Since none of us is going to China anytime soon, I'm going to have to say that the quality control over there is either inept as all heck, or they just don't understand that the heads are too big. But really, how hard can it be to find a good translator to get THAT point across!

This figure is going to be a pass for me. Which is a shame, because I had such high hopes for it. As it is, the only two that I've bought are the Riddler figure and the suited variant. And that my friends will be it, until they fix the body and head issues for their females.

Sculpted size is the problem in my opinion. Making a smaller initial sculpt would fix the problem. Blame the sculptor!
