I was just so excited to see this.
I mean, I had already ordered the set and had pretty much gotten used to the fact that I'd have to hide Batgirl in the back of the shelf.
Now, she can be right out in the front.

My set didn't even ship until 2 days ago so it'll be a few more days until they get here.
I hope that in the meantime someone else who receives theirs will post pics of her out of the package.

Cheese and Rice! That pic looks WAY better than the prototype that FTC put out. Did the owner of this figure alter it in any way to make it look better or is that the final product? Either way, she looks great and the belt is a massive improvement over what we all were seeing. I ordered one that I should be receiving shortly but I may have to grab another one just because!

I just hope that that pic is not a swap out of a custom put into a Figures Inc. Clamshell. That figure looks TOO nice to be one of theirs. Work is too clean and that body doesn't jibe with ANYTHING they've done so far. Aren't the Figures Inc. figures in the clamshell tied with a tiewrap or something like that at the peghook? You don't see that in this pic. I hope for everyone's sake that ordered it that the first pic is what you get and not the prototype pic.

Well...this sort of answers a little bit of the mystery. The head is definitely a new improved over the prototype head...but the body is still awful. Here's an ebay auction that shows the figure in and out of the clamshell:

            http://www.ebay.com/itm/Batman-1966-...4AAOSwJdlW6xak

Definitely would need to swap out the body and those boots...but it isn't a bad start. Baby steps I guess.

I just went back and took a screen grab of the original post.
Doesn't mention anything about swaps or customs.

That is SUCH an improvement! I might change my mind about getting her! I love the LONG hair that they gave the figure, and the face sculpt is much better than the prototype.

Now if only the actual Barbara Gordon sculpt was better than the prototype.

After looking at the FTC prototype pic and the pic posted of the ebay auction, is it possible that the owner that posted the Facebook pic somehow fiddled with her belt to get it to sit lower on her hips? Looks like that could be the case? If so it's nicely done. Either way, I'm glad I ordered her. IF FTC does get around to some version of Catwoman and she is of like quality, I'm snapping one up as soon as they hit the market. And a side thought here, but is her hair REALLY long in the ebay post or is it just me?

One thing that was never clear to me is why they didn't use the same base face sculpt (whichever one that would be) for both figures? They don't really look alike at all. And a wee bit of a smile might have been nice. But hey! We get Barbara Gordon and Batgirl! Yay!

Her hair is definately way too long..

                      The hips are awful

otherwise, still a nice looking figure and will be better on a body swap

Photos from a live eBay action.
The belt isn't around her hips here but at least we know that we can move it that way.
Her face still looks much better.
If CTVT ever sells those Jayna gloves, I'm going to use them on Batgirl.

Imagine if a customizer actually worked for FTC as a consultant.

The faces look completely different, mouth looks more open, eyes are painted better. I don't think these are the same figure.
