Green eared Cornelous figue?

I just got one of these in the mail (paid $13 for it including shipping) and was wondering if it was a factory error? Is this a rare figure? I think he looks pretty cool with the ears myself.

I've seen as many green eared Corny/Galen figures as I have the tan ears. It's pretty common. I think it once was thought that the tan ears was Corny and the green ears was Galen, but I'm pretty sure that was disproved a long time back.

And yet they still list them that way on Ebay. Go figure.
