Friends - Just wanted to let you know about my new book Comic Book Fever. It's presently in Previews as a June release. It's also on sale at Amazon. The cover and introduction are by Alex Ross. Fever celebrates the pivotal comics era of 1976-1986. It's a love letter to the era, the medium, and its creators.

This book is written for everyone - the lifelong fans and the comic book novices alike.

With the exception of adding 1975, when I started reading comics (ah, those 100-pagers), you're completely covering my formative comic-reading and pop-culture years! After '86, I took a break through much of high school, but then came back during university, and really haven't left since.

Thanks, Rod! It's an important period in comics because the nature of the business started to change in this era. There's other surprises in the book because making the book fun was always a goal.
