These figures are a game changer for the toy industry. I just got my regular Spock and I can honestly say that Mezco has done something I didn't think possible. They made me want to collect toys again. These shouldn't be compared to Megos or Hot Toys...they are their own new category...the high end 6" figure. However the comparisons are inevitable, since the sculpts, paint apps, and tailoring of the costumes rival anything done by Hot Toys, and far surpass 8" retro figures.
The individual body types used for each figure set them apart from 8" retro figures who have always suffered from scale issues because of it. Spider-Man does not have the same build as Thor, etc.
The development and use of micro-textiles is also extremely impressive. I would have never thought it possible to get a perfectly tailored fabric costume on a figure even smaller than a Mego, but Mezco has done it. The wide range of licenses plus the fact that Mezco is adding playsets and vehicles into the mix assures this is going to be one of the greatest success stories in the history of action figures. Word is spreading...the One: 12 Collective is here to stay. Since Mezco has the full DC license, I wouldn't be surprised to possibly even see Batman '66 visited at some point. Then we would have some 6" figures worthy of Mattel's Batmobile.

Well said! I have 2 Mezco One:12 figures so far 2 DKR Batman- PX Blue and regular Black and they are in a league of their own! I will be getting Spock next. I plan to get every DC and Marvel character Mezco makes (1 of each character not all variants). FTC NEW Shazam Captain Marvel revealed yesterday is nice for Mego it captures CC Beck's Big Red Cheese but cannot hold a candle to Mezco One:12 Shazam.

I am looking forward to Mezco One:12 at SDCC more DC and Marvel reveals, the 1st FEMALE!, and the new licenses!

I just received my mezco Spock and I have to say for a 1/12 scale figure mezco really nailed it. I couldn't believe the detail and both head look amazing. Uniform fits well and accessories are nice too. I can wait for rest of the crew and Star trek aliens. Imagine if you could do 1/12 scale star wars that would be awesome. I really hope the get the 1966 Batman and make a batmobile and rest of the villians.
