13" Denys Fisher Superman - Price Check

I recently got into collecting the 12" Mego's

I know this guy is rare - to make a long story short - I bought a near mint figure for $307. Does this sound about right - I thought I did "ok" - basically looking for re-assurance since I am somewhat new to this line.

These guys are really, really uncommon, especially in that kind of condition, so I don't think that price was terrible. I bought and later sold a mint, complete one for about $150 (because I had upgraded to a boxed one) but in retrospect, I think I sold it way too cheaply. The tough thing will be to find his accessories, maybe near impossible. Great figure though, congrats!

              Dave,

I figured you had him since he is a Denys Fisher

agree with this 100% ,plus this supes is prone to grey head zombie problems and due to the brittle nature of the abs thumbs is found more often than not with the thumbs missing snapped off plus the boots are unique to this figure ,luckily they are great quality and tough and are usually in good shape ,lmk if yours have any problems ,i can hook you up with a perfect pair ,so i think you did fine ,the i beam and padlock are super super tough to find but on his own hes got a lot of display presence ,congrat to you both on the pick ups

Dave - Hmmm. Whatever that translates into US dollars is no making me feel very re-assured. Unless he is missing a head, 2 fingers, has multiple runs, and split boots. But I know your stuff - so did I overpay?

If I'm not mistaken, he's the second rarest 12" Mego superhero.

And yeah, watch out for those thumbs!

The end run non-magnetic 12" Batman in the dark purple box. You almost never see one for sale.

                            Thanks

I have the magnetic. So I need to look for a loose one with no magnets!

Dave - with that darn 9" Robin - got me hooked on the 12".

well it translates to $21.74 but I remember it being sort of a hidden auction
also to mention its loose no box ... ive found the figure just looking for his boots now :( hope I still have them
but like I say ive no idea what these are worth ..and it was the 9 inch robin that set me off wanting others
