When I first read about people getting their shipping notice from EE, I called Amok to ask them if they had gotten their shipment in. The guy on the phone was pretty stunned to hear a vendor had already gotten theirs and said he was going to call DS because they are a direct buyer. He said he didn't expect any of that product to ship for at least a couple more weeks. When I called back after reading about the miscalculation of stock volumes, a different person answered and he was somewhat flustered. They had been getting allot of calls on this set and hadn't been informed by DS that their order would be impacted. He also didn't think that would be the case because DS would have said something by now. So this whole situation has been both peculiar and frustrating to all parties in the buyer/seller chain. What stands out to me is how can one vendor say preorders were miscalculated against stock volumes if other companies, like Amok, still have their pre-orders up for purchase? I think now would be a good time for Zach to jump in and clear the air on what is happening with this order.

I got the e mail yesterday myself... ordered 1 set, and got the free shipping, to make sure I was able to get at least the 2 build a figures and giving the boxed retro figure to my nephew for his birthday.Comment

Sorry, just saw this. Deadpool ships to comic shops this week, Wednesday. If an online retailer got them earlier than that, they may receive their inventory through a different method than the standard Diamond distribution.
I was not aware of any allocation of this set, so I am not 100% sure that that is true (it may be), but we still have a few dozen in inventory, so retailers should still be able to get them from Diamond Comics, and they are on our store site, as well. (A retailer may have cancelled their order post-allocation, resulting in leftover product. It happens.)
It does seem to be our best-selling set so far, though, so definitely check your local comic shop if you have not. http://www.comicshoplocator.comComment
