You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Yeah, that kind of gave away quite a bit of the plot, didn't it?

These look nice. I just hope they actually show up at retail where you can find them. Wal-Mart and Target's DC offerings have been nearly non-existent for some time in these parts. Toys R Us is usually a toy graveyard, with only a few stragglers hanging about.

Every Wal-Mart around here has approximately 50,000 of each figure. I'm not sure HOW this happened, but what a strange, STRANGE assortment to get overshippped. I got the Carrie Kelly dirt cheap off of Amazon right before Christmas ($5, I think?), but I'll get the other DKR figures and Supergirl if I see them this cheap. Our Wal-Marts are very slow to clearance, unfortunately.

Funny. You must have gotten all ours Chris. Our Walmarts had barley any of this wave. In fact, I've never seen Robin or Supergirl at ANY Walmart around here.

My son and I created a whole end cap of unsold Lex Luthors at my local TRU whilst waiting for my daughter. Did anybody want a Jesse Eisenberg action figure?

^I wanted to reach through my movie screen and strangle his Lex Luthor. So, no, I don't think anyone wanted that Lex, and they made two. Hipster CEO Lex, and Orange is the New Black Lex.

He's replaced Tommy Lee Jones as the most scenery chewing DC movie villain. At least Jones looked like Two Face.

He may have looked like a Luthor, especially at the end, but he NEVER acted like one. He acted like a petulant little child.

Jeez, I've only seen Supergirl once at retail, and that was in one of those pop-up game and toy stores around Christmastime. I don't think they ever showed up at Wal-mart here.

Those are some reasonable prices! Sadly, neither of my Walmart stores have marked these down as of yet. These weren't marked down at Target when I was there last week, but I will be checking tomorrow. As a longtime collector of the DC Collectibles figures and the NECA 7inch DC exclusive figures, I've always sort of felt these Mattel figures looked cheaper and lacked the same detail. However, this collection probably has the most detail in comparison to the previous offerings.
