Ape Zira's Swing Jacket, Escape from Planet of the Apes

This photograph shows the hood is lined with a darker burgundy lining instead of the pink lining used within the jacket:

This is how the swing jacket now looks, after sewing a facing. It made such a difference, from looking home-made to store-bought. I decided to keep the top stitching of the lining, since after sewing down the new facing the top stitching didn't look so odd.

I am posting this photo only because I really love the composition. She has a strong stance, almost like a flamenco dancer. I will try to retake this exact pose this weekend, but hopefully be able to capture Zira's eyes looking directly at the camera...

Looks awsome Jessica. Hey, how did you keep everything thin enough. Usually putting a liner like that bulks it up and makes it look fake.

You did a great job and it looks very realistic. Love it!!!

I think your pics are just as awsome. Extreamly realistic.

Jessica you are amazing. I'd like to see you on the next season of Project Runway : )

The photograph of Cornelius helping Zira on with her coat, is priceless.

Absolutely WOW! You've captured not just the look of the outfit, but your photo composition has really captured the characters.
