London Toy Fair: The original Stretch Armstrong returns.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Tags: None -
I am so happy that they went with the classic look, over that cheesy 90s version. I wonder why they didn't just make an exact replica, instead of changing it slightly? Also, you'd think there'd be better fill material today than the old corn syrup. I wonder how the 90s Stretches have held up. -
Stretch is being released by Character Options in the UK under license from Hasbro. Hopefully it will be released in the US and Canada too.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. Holy ****, the day I've been waiting for for 40 years is coming! This is one of the grails that I figured would allude me forever. I never had one as a kid, and, although I know folks like Palitoy dig him, the Stretch Monster was simply not a welcomed substitute for me. Simply ecstatic about this.Comment

Picture of me, Christmas 1978. Stretch was one of my favorite toys ever. Hasbro did a Stretch Homer Simpson a few years ago that ended up being UK only and never released in the US. Hopefully this isn't the case again...Attached FilesLast edited by Sideshow Spock; Jan 26, '16, 12:19 AM.Comment

I recall having stretch monsters head in my bottom dresser drawer for years after all the bandages and tape failed to contain his leaky syrup. We may have buried the body somewhere near the family pet cemetery in the backyard, but my memories are a bit fuzzy as to if that was plan or action. I have no idea what I ever did with the head, but I would welcome a modern replacement.Comment
