The word that the very first episode is bad, almost like why bother making this again bad.

But the other word, according to this critic...it will start getting better and better...as in old school best "monster" X-Files episodes of yesteryear...

Looking forward to seeing Mulder and Scully on the TV again. Considering they haven't played these roles in---what, 8 years?---I'm sure they needed a little time to get back in the groove. For me being an X-Phile, even a bad episode is better than some of the dren that's on these days. Would be cool, if these six episodes pull in enough of an audience, to see mini-seasons every two years. Would also be cool if they could find some way of doing an X-FILES/FRINGE crossover episode.

I would think it might be a little hard for many contemporary *critics* to get down with the Chris Carter quirk, but bad, good or otherwise I'm in. The X-Files and Millennium changed television for the better, and for that I remain a fan and thankful.

Ya, right! This new episode was fantastic! It was like it never stopped. I was hanging on every word and I am already hooked again! Plus, Skully is STILL hot.
