These are cool, I really like them, although not big into the tuxedos version. I do agree Mike should have his hat
that was infact his trademark, but like someone said, FTC can always make wool hats, which would also work for
the 66 Batman Mr. Freeze henchman customs.

Maybe down the road we'll see....(drum roll please), the Monkee Mobile???

Yeah, Mike and Mickey look great. I don't think Peter and Davey really capture their look very well. The clothes look nice!

He was too busy running his production company, Pacific Arts, that's why he sat out the 80s tours... He did do a European tour with them in the 90s when their album "Justus" was on the market, and he recently (2012, 2013, 2014) did Monkees tours with Micky and Peter, in addition to his own "Movies of the Mind" tour... He also did some autograph shows which seem to have been well received... As far as his involvement in any 2016/50th Anniversary tours or activities-That's yet to be announced/determined...

Yes, the Wrecking Crew were world class musicians and played beautifully on those Monkees albums. (they also did Pet Sounds)

I love them. Peter needs some work, though.
Warm up?! We may as well sit around this cigarette!

Those look fun! The sculpts look descent but I'm not a big enough fan to take a $30 a piece dive. If this is the new price point for allot of 2016 product, I'll be passing on the initial releases and waiting for the obvious discounts that will come.

same here, I'll be really picking and choosing.FTC figures are NOT worth $30 each especially considering the dollar store feather-weight crappy bodies that you get for the money....It probably costs them $2 a figure to manufacture,so I am not buying their price point

yeah, this price point is going to start hurting sales, I'd have to imagine that catching up to NECA's price is the breaking point. Especially with very little improvement made on head sizes or body issues. Then there's the issues of Mike's hat MIA and Peter not looking a bit like Peter.

I like the Monkees ,have the show on dvd,and some monkee cds,i would get probably only the red shirts in "8' format, they were their standard entertainment
outfits .although i also kinda like the Super monkees ,well we will see ,Yeah Mike without a cap is like a Vulcan without logic ,i am sure we will get one, perhaps
with a Monkees accessory set with insturments .wouldnt that be a cool monkee display ,but if they havent done it for Kiss ,the monkees is a long shot.

The Primary musicians on the Monkees first 2 albums was Bobby Hart's band, The Candy Store Prophets. The Monkees played most of their 3rd album, and most of the 4th album, along with their producer, who was the Turtles bass player. The Wrecking Crew played more on the Monkees' later, less successful albums.
