They nailed the likeness of all. Not a fan of this band so easy pass but may pick 'em up just because they're made so darn cool.

Gotta say, the drawings on the Monkee Men cards are kinda hideous.Comment

I grew up with the Monkees, and these look great. It will be hard NOT to buy them. BUT, how the heak could they not include Mike's hat? He may not like it, but it was part of his character, and we need the darn hat!Comment

The Monkees were my first concert way back in 1986. Mike was, is my favorite Monkee. I enjoy the Monkees more than anyone my age and gender probably should. I also sell action figures for a living and have a profound fondness particularly for my good friends at FTC. So you can imagine my excitement as a Monkees fan, retailer, and rabid supporter of FTC when I heard they were making Monkees figures. They look great. But...HOW DO YOU MAKE A MIKE NESMITH FIGURE WITH NO WOOL HAT!? He was even called "Wool Hat" in the first episode. It's like making Charlie Chaplin without his mustache. It makes my next exclusive easy. Looks like I will be on the horn tomorrow begging FTC to let Toycade sell an exclusive "Mike With Signature Wool Hat."Comment

Mike Nesmith's mom invented Liquid Paper, so I guess that's why he did not get back with the Monkees on their 80s reunion tour. He didn't need the money. But it wasn't the same without Mike and his wool hat which would make a great Toycade exclusive!
My younger sister became a HUGE Monkees fan in the 80s when she was in her early teens. She had all the TV episodes on videotapes and the Brady Bunch episode "Getting Davey Jones" and bought the Monkees albums on cassette tapes and had a cool Monkees cartoon characters T-shirt!
In 2002 I was the 11th caller in a nationwide radio contest (when the monkey cried) and won the 1st season of the Monkees TV show in a DVD box set which I gave to my sister and a Monkees bobblehead set for Christmas!
So my sister is excited to say the least of FTC Monkees figures which were always meant for Megos!Comment

Maybe this means that the tuxedos will show up for sale separately again! I'd use FTC figures as a wedding cake topper. hehehe
I wonder if people have done that before with the MyFaceOnAFigure.com figures?
