Thor Review... The Good and Bad

I just got Thor today and it appears that mine doesn't come with a hand that can hold the new hammer, just a right and left closed fist.

Edit - all good, the hammer holding hand was still in the package

Did it only come with four extra hands, instead of five? The hands don't show in unopened sets.

So what would be the best body for Modern Thor? Mego Type 2?

I would go with the original Mego Type 1 or Type 2 body, I put mine on the Mego type 1

I am looking forward to getting my thors ,The classic mego looks fantastic ,the Don Blake -so so ,but the new thor head looks awful ,the outfit looks
ok ,but those painted heads Yuuck!,However ill know for sure when i get my two sets in hand ,more then likely ill build the other two up ,i just hope
the pictures (thanx by the way),i just kinda hope the new thor looks better in hand .Or ill throw that new head in a parts box .

You can use the Blake ahead on a Mego or Doc Body. It will work fine.

I like classic Thor( with box ) and the new Thor suit seems pretty good , but not liking the sculpt on the new head. This is still the best of my 3 sets and has cool stuff
for customs. I am waiting to order an FTC blonde Conan head for new Thor but I might use the new Thor head to make another figure like Longshot or Kazar.

For those interested in doing this.I swapped the modern Thor Head with the FTC Blonde Conan head...looks much cooler actually.The Helmet is permanently attached as it will not sit on its own
