The "Post your your favorite cover song" thread

It's been too long since we've had a music thread.

I just learned about this group fairly recently because they do the soundtrack to the Steamworld Heist game. Which is a very good game, BTW.

The Spine and GG from Steam Powered Giraffe cover Diamonds.

I don't even like the original song and I think this is wicked.

Have fun post away. Let's hear some of your fav cover songs.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I really, really like Ghost's reworking of Roky Erickson's "If You Have Ghosts" (I wish I could find a karaoke version, because I love to sing this song). Here's their acoustic version, but the regular studio version is great too:

I only learned about this band a couple of days ago. My sister really digs them. She really likes their song Cirice.

My heart throb, Shaun did a few covers, but of course the first was Da Doo Ron Ron originally sung by the Crystals. In his 1979 TV special, on one of his concerts, he sang the song w/ The Crystals. I couldn't find that footage, but here's him singing the song in '77:

"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

This is one of the few covers posted I've heard before. My older sister was really into Hardy Boys and Shaun Cassidy for awhile. I'm pretty sure she had that and his Do you believe in Magic cover on 45.
