^Where can I see these? Of course, I recall only Boba and IG-88. I'd like to see the prototypes--If I was going to re-collect vintage Star Wars, it'd be the 12" series.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

http://theswca.com/images-unproduced.html Scroll down. Old site, and not the best pictures.
Some nice shots here of some unproduced Luke and Leia outfits:

Gus Lopez's collection:
Here's a sweet shot:
Here are the Empire ones. Fun Fact: Lando is a painted Hardy Boy head. I would kill for these.
Box flats were made too:
To me, these have a charm and appeal that the Hasbro 12 inch line never achieved.Comment

Those look great--Bespin Leia's gown is beautiful.
If they made it as far as molded boots and packaging, why were they cancelled? Was it lack of orders or over-saturation? The Jawa body could have been repurposed for Yoda...WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Those are really neat!! I really liked the 12" line, back then. At the time, I always wished more figures existed.
- IanRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

thanks for posting those pics!! how cool!! would have loved having those! yeah, my parents didn't want to spend too much on figures growing up so they'd rather buy me the 3.75 inch scale vs the 12 inch versions. i'm sure many folks thought that way.Comment

My parents made it very clear to me how special the 12 inch figures were. Consequently, I took very good care of the 4 I was privileged to have, and completed my set just this last year. Sans the unproduced ones, of course. I have always had a soft spot for their friendly sculpts and attention to detail accessories, even though some of the lightsabers are a bit absurd in their design.Comment

Same here, loved the 12" versions. I still have my 12" Boba Fett and Darth Vader I received for my birthday. I picked up boxes for both of those many years ago.
In my Star Wars collecting years I had the entire run of the vintage 12" boxed aside from the un-produced stuff of course. I sold off all of them, but have managed to get a C3PO, R2D2 and loose complete IG88 back.Comment
