I wonder, yeah. I wonder if they will follow the Marvel pattern. The benefit would be, they could tie someone like Snoke into an all new side story, rather than shoehorn him into an Original Trilogy or Prequel Trilogy storyline.

All the new Star Wars material will be very, very good indeed!

Still trying to figure out why I was so bored watching this movie.

With forum rules not to discuss politics and religion, I am surprised StarWars does not fall under this.
Who here dies not speak of it with such passion -love it or not?

Going for the second time this afternoon. Now that I can still see in in a movie theatre...

Yeah, I'm trying to find time for a third viewing. I liked it better the second time. The 3-D was fantastic.

What a great skit by SNL...

That was tremendous. Although I was expecting a larger tantrum for the payoff reveal.

I liked the movie a lot when I saw it the first time.
Now that I have seen it again, I have to admit....I love it...

Maybe it's because I don't have that fear of being disappointed, after such a long wait. I could really enjoy all the details and little scenes a lot more now.
My favorite part must be the fact that Chewie really gets a chance to shine. It amazes me that Mayhew is still playing the part. Good for him!
And regarding this, it kind of annoyed me that Mayhew was listed in a group of actors, while Daniels got his own separate billing. You can hardly say 3PO's part was bigger than Chewie's!
I wish Chewie would rip that red arm out of the socket. 3PO didn't even acknowledge the Wookiee when Leia and Han meet again.

But again, really enjoyed my second viewing...

Mayhew had a double for a lot of shots. He's a basketball player. Not sure how much he was actually on screen. But yeah, the movie is easier to enjoy the second time. It's just plain fun.

That explains a lot. In many shots I thought "those are the moves of a much younger man".

As for Ben Solo (aka Kylo Ren), his connection to his grandfather explains a lot of his behavior, and I have the feeling this one might also return to the Light in part 9.

release date for episode 8 is now December of 2017. So much for a May 2017 40th anniversary release.

Darn it!!! What a bummer. But understandable. Just make it good. But for Pete's sake, John Williams isn't getting any younger!

Makes complete sense. They want kids out of school and celebrating the holiday with this movie.
