    It Follows

finally got to see this. Very creepy, but starts to fall apart once you start thinking too hard about it.

Creepy in the beginning...but was getting bored towards the end.

"It Follows" is a brand new low-budget, indie, super-buzzed, sleeper, horror movie. Have any of you guys seen this yet? I caught it last night.

I wonder if Charles Burns "Black Hole" inspired it at all. I actually asked Burns about it when I met him last year, but he hadn't heard of it or seen it yet.

We watched it last night and I thought it was okay, just average, but my girlfriend shared your opinion on this one. Over-rated as there was quite a bit of positive buzz around this one.

I liked the music, I liked the mood, and I liked all the young actors. But yeah, it kinda falls apart after awhile. It certainly wasn't the, "scariest movie of the last 20 years," or any of the other hyperbolic taglines that got batted around. My main problem was that it could, and IMO SHOULD, have gotten a lot darker, especially at the end when they started passing it around. I'll give it another go for sure, but I wouldn't buy the Blu-Ray.

I agree with everything you said there, Iron Mego. Those three factors definitely made the movie in my opinion. I would have liked to see it get darker, too!
