Question about MEGO 1975 vs 1977 boxed 12inch Spider-Man

Hi!!!

I was wondering if somebody knows if the MEGO 12inch Spider-man figures inside 1975 boxes differ (costume, body etc etc) from the ones found in the 1977 boxes.

I know there is two different body types, one is a little more muscular than the other, similar to the 12 inch Superman. I don't think there is any suit variants but don't quote me on that.As far as packaging goes,Web Spinning Spiderman possibly the "greatest" artwork in Mego history.

Should a 12'' Spidey in a 1975 box be muscolar or not? Or could it be found in both versions?
Should a 12'' Spidey in a 1977 box be muscolar or not? Or could it be found in both versions?

I know for a fact the 77 box comes with both versions.

I prefer the "skinny" but their both awesome. I love the 12 inch WGSH.

I have been into 8inch for years...but 12inch megos are a new discovery for me!
I agree ...they are awesome!!!

One last question...what about 75 box? Did it come with both or just with one version?

And what about the Web Spinning Spider-man...is it Skinny or Muscolar? or just something completely different?

Are you sure they made a 75 boxed 12 inch Spidey. I know there is a 79 box and I think they're the muscular version. Possibly 76?

Web Spinning Spidey is muscular, no other difference except where you had to put in the web fluid. The carded 12 inch is also muscular
