Yes. You have to buy a muscle body kit from http://www.elitebrigade.com and it has the instructions. Actually not really hard to do. Ive done about two of them in the past. Need to get my hands on one as well. Got rid of mine about 4 years ago.

The listing was for a "vintage hasbro ideal oscar goldman", I got a super Joe intruder, bulletman (in several pcs. of course, oscar minus right arm no clothes, and what I think might be Kent from s.t.a.r. team minus hands and 1 forearm?) I really just wanted the joes but I do collect smdm and star team (what little there is) so maybe I can restore him and oscar in time. final price was $55 and $20 shipping. $75 total. just saw bulletman helmet sell for $36. and i think I paid $12 +sh for my nudie intruder a couple of years ago.

I saw that auction but passed. All I would have wanted it for was the Bulletman and I don't have the time to restring one now. If I recall, he was complete with his belt but no chest sticker, right?

The restringing kits from Cotswold are the way to go. They are about $15 but they give you everything you need except tools. I have restrung about 10-15 figures and let me warn you, Bulletman is the hardest to do because of his metalic painted arms. You have to pry each section apart to get the retrofitted joints in and that silver paint is very easy to chip. I recommend that you spray a little WD-40 inside first, let it sit for a few minutes, and then slowly work at it with a small slotted screwdriver. Go slow and gentle or you will end up breaking the tabs and chipping the paint and your restored figure will look like he hit one too many brick walls!

Are the rest of the super joe line that hard to restore, I'd love to get the whole line but have been putting it off for several reasons, firstly the one's I've seen are almost always still on the card, and more often than not the cards are beat. Secondly, their falling apart in the card which is a double negative, because you have to open a still sealed card for a damaged figure. And lastly the card art isn't great. rather have a restored loose one, they rarely if ever come up for bids when I'm looking.
