i think rob got a great price for the shark. it's the highest priced loose shark i've ever seen.

How do you think it got that high? It'd been a slugfest for the last seven days!

Actually it seems to have had a nice gradual rise. I was hoping to see a new bidder come in at the end, and the price to spike wildly as standing bids were overturned and the scared and sweaty bidders frantically punched in new bid after new bid in a desperate attempt to retain Shark-hunt bragging rights.
At least that's how I pictured it in my mind and it was glorious.

I especially stayed up late to see the ending of this auction, expecting to see that slugfest... could've easily gone to bed early
But congrats Rob, although I had expected it to go a little higher you nevertheless got a great price
