$240 for Sideshow Marvel 1/6 Punisher figure! UGH!

These Sideshow 1/6 figure prices keep going HIGHER! $240 for Punisher?!! FORGET IT! SS 1/6 Marvel line could have been a dream come true years ago when SS priced were reasonable.

FTC needs to get Marvel license. I'd buy FTC $100 18" Marvel Megos like DC!

Punisher is pretty easy to customize in 1/6 scale. Basically a guy in body armor with lots of guns.
I think you can easily assemble one for less than $100.

This is the same garbage they pulled with Universal Monsters, and when fans could no longer afford to buy anything they put out, they said "interest wasn't there" and let the license expire.

Weren't SS 1/6 Universal Monsters $40 each at first as were James Bond? Star Wars were $50 each at start.

I wish one of these manufacturers would have the cajones to buck this price-gauging trend, and put out a quality product that tops out at $100-$150. They'd make gobs of money, and teach these guys a lesson or two.

Believe it or not, when the first 12" monster figures came out they were $20 at Suncoast. I remember getting Frankenstein, Nosferatu, London After Midnight and the Silver Screen versions there.

Hasbro needs to bring back 12" Marvel Legends Icons! Even though they were all plastic with cloth capes they were nicely sculpted and only $15-20 each! How much would they be today $35-40? I'd buy!

^Yeah, those are really nice. I only have Daredevil but it's a gorgeous figure. I want Colossus and Captain America someday.

Yeah, seems like there's a middle ground not being exploited. I hate the 1/6 market trends now. It's just obnoxious, knowing what they used to cost not so long ago.

It won't stop until we stop buying overpriced figures. They'll keep bumping up prices as long as pre-orders get "sold out".
