The comic division is all ip for film/tv. I was told off-record spider-Gwen is a top Sony priority, so I see the spideyverse thing being what Sony makes as their franchise.
Before the film division was annexed by Disney, the plan murmurs were to replace everyone with the new diverse characters -Cap-Falcon, Lady Thor, Amadeus Hulk, etc...but I think Evans turnaround on staying with Cap shows Disney and Fiege scuttled Ike's plans and are willing to pay up to keep the names attached.Comment
