1/6 scale doomsday and superman

my nephew and i are working on this pair ,long way to go but quite happy with them so far




for scale with the sideshow supes



with pants



with hulk ,who was the base body for this guy



and beat up superman

You should be more than happy with them they are looking awesome!!! Can't wait to see them finished and posed in battle!

Just WOW! Those are a really spectacular pair of customs! Doomsday looks good, but beat-up Superman looks stupendous! How did you achieve the rather painful looking swelling on his face? I look forward to seeing this completed (hopefully with a really nice diorama backdrop perhaps...?)!

wow thank you all very much for the kind words and encouragement ,
the swollen eye on supes is just a small ball of milliput pressed and smoothed in to the eye and a slit placed in the middle lol ,same goes for the cuts and slashes ,as to the diorama ,the guy were making these for want some sort of base background for them but depends how well these come out ,ive got a brats car already earmarked for destruction lol ,
did a bit more to them ,but its a little hard to second guess what he wants them to look like finished ,im leaning to clean and clear comic book style ,not too overly gory and realistic , more supes turns up and underestimates the danger and is damaged and shocked by doomsdays opening salvo ,as to dooms day and his spines spikes protrusions ,i see them as sort of like animals teeth ,dangerous but not too clean lol ,with the gray skin and the white they could look like candles on a cake if im not careful ,so ive tried to grunge them up a little ,lmk what you think cheers

just got done dry brushing doomsday ,hes getting something like i think looks cinematic and comic book lol,couple of paint washes and i think we will call it done ,not sure about his pants ,ii think he had silver straps or band in the comic ,maybe less is more in this case lol

well finished them up and delivered them to the guy who pays for this stuff lol ,thankfully he was very pleased with them ,next up for him live action tv thor ,spidey and captain america ,should be interesting to say the least lol
