                I still have my rubber gorillas from the 70's. I recall taking the bus to Japantown (San Francisco) pretty often to buy these guys for 59 cents. This would be about 1974.

                This is not the EXACT gorilla shown on the Imperial Toys ad, but it's a close relative. For some odd reason, most rubber gorillas of that era had EXACTLY the same pose.

                  I love how the artwork makes Hong Kong Gorilla look very nonchalant.
