Are you able to do an acetone fume bath to smooth out the printed layers, Paul? They look fine to me but I watched a tutorial on acetone fume bathing a 3d printed piece and it seemed a quite simple procedure with very good results.

I really don't mind the look in person, especially on the white skull as the white rides the texture. I'm well aware of using acetone on ABS plastic, but this is PLA which doesn't dissolve in acetone. I also have Smooth-On's XTC coating which works like a lacquer to hide the layers, but I didn't use it on this piece.
