Nice. So will it fit in the Mego Star Trek Bridge set?

Honestly I'm not sure, but it's scaled for an 8 inch figure.

You left off the best part... that this was designed by Museum hero Dave MC!

I wanted a Captain's chair for the 8 inch Mego Star Trek figures, so I modeled one and printed it out. No support needed to print these parts.

I never said I designed this one, just said it's almost complete. ;-)

It's coming along very nicely, to bad they don't make these for real adults, I would scoop one up
in a second, priced accordingly of course.

I'm still waiting on my Type1Kirk Fed Ex box version.
                Fresh, not from concentrate.

maybe Dave can correct me, but he did not model the 3d files for Thingiverse. Dave’s been (sadly and missed) outta the hobby long before 3D printers started becoming mainstream.

Yes... that is why I was so excited when I saw this.

The user name was a little open for interpretation on Thingverse, but on another site the same design is posted under "David Mc"... and his interest is in Mego-scale Trek. But now you have me looking again, and this Dave is located in Missouri... which doesn't match up. Must be another guy.

Now I am bummed. I thought Dave was getting a new itch through 3d printing...
