I read somewhere a lot of Who fans are upset with him.

I kind of think in order to be a good Doctor, you can play evil well. A lot of the greats like Troughtan, Baker and Hartnell played baddies in movies.

Tennant being the Purple Man is the reason I want to give it another try. I really like that guy!

I've never seen an episode of Dr. Who in my life, but I loved the guy in Broadchurch. He's awesome!

^Well, most Who fans discount Cushing as a true "Doctor", but yeah, you're right. I just watched that flick a few months ago on TCM. Don't forget Cushing also ordered Alderan all blown-up and stuff!

I think that everything was handled very well, because a lot of comic stuff just wouldn't work as a straight translation. The show was great!

I don't watch Dr. Who, so this was kind of my introduction to Tennant, but I thought he did a fantastic job here!

As a long time fan of Dr. Who I did not mind seeing Tennant as a villain. What is bothering me with all the comic book tv shows is the death rate. What is the since is killing off so many great characters?

Yes I would have loved to see Jessica in a flashback wear that outfit, just briefly would have have been nice. At some point, when the Defenders do form, Jessica and Luke will need a costume of some sort. I would go with a modern take on Jessica Jones as the Knightress:


It would fit in with the Netflix Daredevil outfit.

DD's home-made ninja suit worked so well throughout his series until the superhero costume popped up at the end and took me right out of it.


hoping the new suit he has for the second season works better in the context of the show.


Given that both Cage and Jessica Jones have been wearing civvies in their roles as superheroes for the past decade or I'm sure they aren't putting on costumes anytime soon. Hellcat and Iron Fist on the other hand might end up in costumes of some sort given their personalities.

Yeah I agree, it seems likely that Cage and Jones will remain costumeless, but I'm pretty sure that Iron Fist and Hellcat will have some type of costume.
