Doctor Who new series prologue

Isn't this about the Dalek-Time Lord hybrid mentioned?

Except the Doctor dismissed in the final minutes of Heaven Sent saying that nothing can be half Dalek and that the prophecy is wrong.

Because I haven't seen the latest episode i'm talking out of my behind, but when I hear hybrid I think of River Song -- who will happen to appear in the Christmas special

Why do you have trouble understanding Capaldi? Is it his accent? He's toned it down a bit for the show.

Not looking forward to the return of River,really don't like that actress.

^ it's not his accent I don't understand --- I have absolutely no trouble understanding a thick Scottish brogue...

My problem is they way he mumbles most of the time added to the fact it seems the background music has grown louder in comparison to the dialog track since Capaldi took over.

For River, i'm not her biggest fan but for once I don't mind her returning --- I think because the Doctor is more compatible with her now.

LOL! That's funny! I understand your problem though,not the first time I've heard people say that,so you're not alone with that problem. And yeah,she's more compatible now,but I still don't like her,which happened the minute she made some totally idiotic remarks on a talk show. She was probably trying to be funny. She wasn't. Would've been funny if it was the Walking Dead fans she was talking about though,which she probably got mixed up with Who fans,lol.

Final episode was pretty good... powerful, if slightly sentimental in places. A decent end to the season.
Always cool to see the Sisterhood of Karn make an appearance.
I confess I got a chill seeing Capaldi in a classic TARDIS control room.
The ending was great. Long may Capaldi reign.

Watched "Hell Bent" in the wee hours this morning and I'm still processing my thoughts about.

Capaldi was good as The Doctor, as he always is.

Cool to see more of Galifrey and to revisit an old friend, the Type I TARDIS (which was very painstakingly recreated).

Beyond that, I'll wait to post more until after others have had a chance to watch it.

The Doctor and Clara were great given the conflict inherent in their situation. The Gallifrey stuff seemed a little anticlimactic given the build up to it.

Hopefully more of the Time Lords stuff will be explored next season?

I have no doubt we will have Big Finish Audio adventures of Me and Clara travelling around in their stolen TARDIS.

I would hazard a guess that the Tardis set was left-over from Adventures in Time and Space TV movie?

This season was very solid, I don't know why I doubted Maisie Williams,she is a top notch actress in both GoT and Doctor Who.
