Warlock Custom - Have patience...

I am relearning the fine art of posting pics here so if something goes wrong just grin and bear it!
Here is the first step in my custom: packaging. I know most people do that last but it gives me great pleasure to finish a nice front and back for a piece I haven't started on.

Warlock custom Step 1: Dyed the costume a light orange to represent his skin.

Step 2: Sewed Uhura tunic at bottom and removed sleeves.

Step 3: Find a suitable skull pin for cape.

Step 4: Add head and bling. Don't like head. Will probably replace.

Step 5: Add cape.

Step 6: Attach painted skull to cape. Really don't like head. Will replace later.

Step 7: Kitbash parts for sceptre.

Step 8: Fit them together with a molding putty.

Step 9 : Make reverse side look wooden to match wooden chopstick pole.

Step 10: Let dry.

Step 11: Paint and wash with brown and gold.

Looking at the pix, I notice the costume looks much lighter than it actually is. I'll try to take better pix after I am through with the new head.

I have found the head I am going to use. Completed pix will soon appear in the Finished Customs forum.
