Who Else Collects Kenner Super Powers?

Just a few months into it for me, but have some carded and loose. Anybody else collect them?

Those are gorgeous! I have a few carded examples; Batman, Robin, slim carded Superman, and my wife Cindy has a carded Wonder Woman. I have a loose collection where I've very slowly been upgrading my well-worn childhood toys.

I loved these toys as a kid. My collection has been given to my kids to play with. A few capes have gone missing and an arm or two busted but I love seeing them get the same blast I did at their age.

I wished I had more. I got Robin and the Flash when they originally came out and I still have them but without their packaging. I found a loose Doctor Fate and Green Lantern at a local thrift store several years ago.

Man. You're not messing around with those specimens.

I have a bunch loose, but never completed the collection. Probably 50% of it.

Awesome looking figures you got. That's a line I'd like to get into collecting. I had a few as a kid, my uncle who's only a couple years older than me had alot of figures and vehicles from that line. The figures were just so much better than the Star Wars figures Kenner had been doing for over 6 years at the time the Super Powers line came out.
If I ever get one of the awesome Hall of Justice playsets then I'll have to start collecting the figures.

Very cool collection. I have Aquaman, manhunter, Flash, and Hawkman carded. And a dozen loose figures. I Pick and choose with this line Batman,Fate, Joker etc are a no brainer but I don't have any interest in Golden Pharaoh or Darkseid's goons.

                    Beautiful examples!

I don't collect them, but have wanted to start doing so for quite a long while. I loved this line from the first time I saw Batman, Robin and Superman in a Target toy dept., 31 years ago. I had no knowledge of them prior to that. It was a great surprise!

With all apologies to my beloved Megos, Super Powers is the greatest DC toyline ever. The aesthetic, the breadth of the line, the accessories, the packaging...it just encapsulates MY favorite version of the DCU.

I still appreciate Mego WGSH more, but I have fallen in love with this line. It started with these from Dwayne, all Mint complete off of beater cards:

I have added a few more loose figures off of beater cards, and now I am about 8 away from a loose set. Can't wait to display the entire line loose.

                          ^ Love that sight!

It really was a magical line, for a lot of us. I spent about two years collecting them when I was a kid. They were introduced in 1984 when I was 10-years-old. So, it was, nearly, perfect timing. They beat out GI Joe RAH for a while.

No, but it's something that I'd like to get into. There's a video posted on You Tube by chap that has a complete carded collection. They looked fantastic altogether.
Some nice examples you have yourself there though.

My favorite toys. My Super Powers and Secret Wars action figures (and my old comic books) are the only things that I've kept since I was a kid. Most of the other stuff in my collection are figures I reacquired as an adult collector.
