I need to upgrade to blu ray on this title. Love the Karnstein trilogy. Discovering the Karnstein trilogy for the first time is like discovering, well, you know...

I'm assuming you've seen it before? It's one of my favorite Hammer flicks..and not just for the obvious reasons.

I hate to admit, I've yet to see the other two. I can't do Netflix (live in the sticks, internet is capped, it's like living in the Middle Ages), and I'm cheap when it comes to old movies. I haven't found them for a price that jumps out at me. I'm feeling the need to cave in for $20 a pop for a Blu-Ray, though...

EDITED TO ADD: Vampire Lovers dirt cheap on Blu-Ray from Amazon:

The other two are still hovering around $20 for a DVD (Lust) and Blu (Twins).

Twins is the best of the three, with Vampire Lovers a close second. Lust gets dumped on a lot, but I love it.

Was watching The Return of Count Yorga for the first time last night, and was shocked to see the Count watching The Vampire Lovers! There is some foreign language dubbed over the dialog, but you see the scene where Ingrid Pitt attacks Ferdie Mane!
