The New Adventures of Batman -- Rogues Gallery

The New Adventures of Batman animated cartoon aired on CBS from February 12 to May 28, 1977, featuring the DC Comics superheroes Batman and Robin (voiced by Adam West and Burt Ward), and Batgirl. The series was a Filmation and DC Comics production in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Riddler and the Scarecrow were off-limits to the show, as Hanna-Barbera already had the rights to the characters for Challenge of the Superfriends (though Riddler does appear in the opening credits of the show in a pink colored costume, and was mentioned being arrested at the beginning of the episode Deep Freeze). This is also the reason why Joker could not appear in Challenge of the Superfriends, though he was planned as a Legion of Doom member.

Joker is simply a new FTC Fist Fighter Joker with a repainted head.

Penguin is a Mego Penguin with a repainted hat; my suit; CTVT shoes; and jacket by Hawkmike.

Clayface is built on a Dr Mego Muscle body with hands painted gray; head sculpted by Next2LastMohican; suit and paints by me.

Sweet Tooth is built on a Mego T2 fat body; head sculpt by Next2LastMohican; suit by Hawkmike; paints by me.

The following customs have been posted previously:

Catwoman is built on a Mego female body; Mary Ellen head; mask and suit by me.

Riddler is a Mego Riddler repainted with suit by me.

Moonman is built on a T2 Mego with yellow hands; suit, paints, and head by me.

Elektro is built on a Mego T2 body with yellow hands; suit, paints, and head by me.

    Our heroes!

    Group shot!

    Joker leads a Conga Line!

Before anybody says anything, I deliberately left out a few villains from the show including Mr. Freeze. I simply did not find the versions of those bad guys used in this show visually stimulating enough to make into an action figure.

I hope you enjoy my customs as much as I do, and, as always, thanks for looking!

    Peace, Love, and Megos!

Austin, I'm tempted to fly on a plane to your home, sneak in when no one is home and steal all of your toys. They are soooooo awesome!

                          That is just surreal.

I don't think Mego would have bothered to have been as accurate as you get.

                          Truly awesome...
