Those are AWESOME!!! I think as much as I can't stand the way books are printed these days....Jack's art would definitely benefit from today's printing on the coated paper and richer colors. Thanks for sharing that. It just shows that Jack was way ahead of his time. -
Now THIS is what I want to see in an FF movie! Granted it would be difficult to adapt Kirby's particular styles to film, but if you find an imaginative enough team, I'm sure it could be pulled off.sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.Comment

To me, this just proves that the comics themselves are the best templates for adaptation, not what Hollywood thinks comics "are." Kirby is truly cinematic.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

I'm becoming more and more of a Kirby fan as I get older. I realize his sense of design now with a more discerning eye. He was still not good at basic human anatomy but his overall page structure and character design was groundbreakingI almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment
