Could a loose Thor be found on a '74 body? Although he was introduced in '76,is it possible that he was suited up in a leftover '74 bid?

Could and should, IMO.
T1 bodies (slimmer and having joints with metal rivets) are copyright MCMLXXI (1971).
T2 bodies (more muscular and having joints with plastic pins & pegs) are copyright 1974 and used for all later releases--including the Marvel WGSH wave of Thor, Conan, and the FF, plus later lines like CHiPs and Dukes of Hazzard.
The copyright dates were not altered for release dates.
In some lines at the time of transition between the two body types, one can find characters on both body styles: Earlier WGSH characters, Super-Knights, Star Trek, Apes, Wizard of Oz...WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Yes, I think we have to remember the body copyright date does not necessarily match the release date or head copyright date.Last edited by PNGwynne; Sep 5, '15, 11:44 AM.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment
