Also had a positive experience meeting her at Chiller many years ago. Also floored by this because at stated on the website, she kept being sick quiet. RIP.

Saw the news this morning and I am in shock, too. For the person, my thoughts are with her family and what they are going through. For the cultural icon I grew up with, this will take a while to come to terms with. So many personalities have passed this year it seems.
      It's all good!

Batman '66 was the thing that introduced me to the entire superhero world. It and everyone associated with it hold a very dear place in my childhood. RIP.

I am floored. On a personal level, I never got the chance to meet her, and she was one of the few celebrities I wanted to meet.

It goes without saying she was one of my early TV crushes, even before I knew I LIKED girls. Batman Season 3 has it's problems, but she's not one of them, and makes those episodes watchable and entertaining.

It sounds like she led a full and interesting life, but it still seems too soon.

              RIP.

                Sad news, for sure.

                May she rest in peace.

                        RIP Yvonne, will miss you.

Wow I just heard this :( so sad. She was one of the nicest celebs that I ever met. All too willing to sign and talk to anyone. I met her along with her sister one year. Just really, really terrible news. RIP Yvonne, you will be extremely missed.

I was on her mailing list, and she sent me an autograph, as well as a couple of comics. She was a very classy lady. I hadn't even heard that she was ill! Her family really kept this quiet. And I can't blame them. There are some things that are just too painful to share with the public.

I've been so sad all day since reading about this. I'd just had a season 3 Blu-Ray marathon, as they're my favorite episodes (I was always more into the comedy aspect) and I was back in a Batmood after seeing Adam, Burt, and Julie two weekends ago. I'd always hoped to meet Yvonne, but was worried when her statement about her surgery and convention cancellations came out. I won't be sad about it, as she instructed, and instead am thinking of her family.
