      1. R2D2
      2. Stormtrooper (which I quickly modified into a Sandtrooper)
      3. Sand People
      4. C-3PO
      5. Jawa
      6. Greedo
      7. Hammerhead
      8. Luke Farmboy
      9. Chewie
      10. Death Squad Commander

With the first ones, I made a desert landscape (with a modelkit Apollo module doubling for the Escape Pod), with Sandtroopers looking for the droids, and Luke getting attacked by Sand People.
Every time i went to see SW, I bought a Jawa. I think I stopped that tradition when I got to 13 Jawas...

Great choice! Love this guy. His colors are great, and he's got that unique bent left arm to hold his commlink.

What the shortest distance in time?
Well, the time between when you get the Cloud Car Pilot, and the moment when you lose his commlink!

Was a bit too old for Star Wars figures back in the day but I always did like the regular Stormtrooper the best.

I know, right? Ask me again tomorrow and my list will change.

I think I still harbor a small amount of disappointment that the Boba figure didn't end up looking like what we were promised. It's not so much the lack of the rocket firing feature either. I really like the clean look of that kitbash prototype. Very Holiday Special. I wish someone would mass produce him. They'd get my money.

Oh man, I think I lost that commlink at least within the first few days of owning it if not sooner!! I was always such a fan of the supporting characters especially the various pilots/drivers. Usually they were in their corresponding vehicles when I played with them, so losing their weapons, etc., didn't phase me too much.

                    1. Boba Fett, and there isn't even a close second. Still have mine from childhood, along with his Slave I (which was kind of a disappointment in that it didn't have anything electronic, even though it also came with carbonite Han)
                    2. AT-AT Driver
                    3. Luke Skywalker - original version
                    4. Luke Skywalker - Bespin outfit
                    5. Luke Skywalker - X-wing outfit
                    6. Darth Vader
                    7. Snow Trooper
                    8. Walrus Man
                    9. Hammer Head
                    10. Storm Trooper

Star Wars hit when I was at a great age for toys (born in 71) and, as much as I liked the movie, I have to admit that Empire got much better figures in general. As a kid, I remember being really disappointed in the Chewbacca figure, as I didn't think it looked ANYTHING like the character did. I didn't think the Han resemblance was there, either. Then again, I was Team Luke all the way until a little bit after Empire came out and finally realized that Han was way cooler. If I'd had a Tusken Raider, I'm sure he would have made the list. That figure was cool as heck, but I never had one and could only play with him at a friend's house.

In fact, even though I didn't collect Joes as a kid---I may go back that GI Joe thread & try to make a top10 anyways.
