    Lavalantula special guest star

Who watched the SYFY Lavalantula this weekend? For just a under a minute in the background was a guest star that slipped by all the comic book websites. The guest star was Phi3comics Spiralmind where he showed up (in the background) in three different scenes. Now this my not mean much to the average movie watchers but to an Independent Comic book company this is hitting the Lottery.

It started at the El Paso for Sun City SciFi where Mike Mendez (director of Big *** Spider) attended and noticed there character and the fact that they had sombody in costume there. Mike said they need some "backlot characters" in the frist scene of the Hollywood set, so they showed there character and it since it looked like Spider-Man they got the part. Actor Frank Power donned the suit and the creater Matthew Rothblatt were both filmed at the beginning of the movie and latter Spiralmind shows in in two other scenes (blink and you will miss him).

This was not a great movie by far. It is not even a good popcorn movie, but the fact that they gave screen time to an indy comic book character is worth the time.

I was a fun b-movie. Several steps above stuff like Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark. That one was unwatchable. Also, a shout out to the Garman! Garmy Strong!
