This is NOT my Justice League

    James Gordon Batman JL.jpg

I just saw this picture and laughed. This is not the Justice League I grew up and now I know why I stopped reading the DCnU.

    Bat-Bot
    Not-Superman
    Battle Armor Woman
    Aquaman Not King of Atlantis
    Cyborg (or Light-up Crotch Man)
    Lighting Man

I don't get it, so is artistict ability no longer required to be a comic book artist? Some of the art in the books these days. Yikes.

It just keeps getting worse and worse for DC. I really don't want to see what they do with the JSA. It's bad enough that DC gave up on them a few years back...but it may get real ugly with this new junk that DC is up to.

That may well be the single worst cover art I'v ever seen, and I'm talking worse than Liefeld, Milgrom, Bogandove and shudder...Romita JR. It's not necessarily the artwork but what is being drawn that makes me ill. I never thought a comic publisher could fall this far

This is just so sad. It breaks my heart to see the heroes I loved as a child become so unrecognizable.
I cannot even stand the sight of these characters anymore.

Andrew Robinson did some great covers for Starman in the later issues of that run. This does not harken back to that.

DC's marketing strategy seems to be "let's confuse new readers with weird costumes and status quo changes, and honk off our existing fan base while we're at it!". I just don't get it.

This is just sad. At this point its getting ridiculous. Its like they're just seeing how much they can dump on their fans. Am I being punked?

A newer generation given the freedom with their 'not so great ideas'. As previously stated, so sad!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
