Huh, I don't get it either. Other than the obvious "third leg" or "tripod" joke, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. OJ pitched Dingo boots in comic ads too. They tend to jump out at you when leafing through old comics, nowadays.
I'm just taking a guess here but in the ad he says "get off on the right foot".....and in the ad he has two right feet...so I'm assuming it's tied in that way.
