I could see setting these up in my Christmas Displays too. The Wet Bandits could end up becoming part of the Elf on the Shelf thing too! I'm just thinking that the kid sized retro body and the shorter adult body could work if NECA were to bring a line of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings 8" scale figures!

They would be great as "victims" for Freddy and Jason.
I can imagine that obnoxious Culkin being chased by Jason with a machete.

Hey, now I actually want these figures...

This is a case where I think a softer, more toylike sculpt would be more attractive. I must admit, there's a creepy vibe to these, and not just Harry and Marv.

          WIN.

          Bang-boom.

No need for a fan club. No need to be toyetic in genre. No need for anything but numbers.

          End of story.

          That's it.

I'd stand behind the licence if only for that.

Since generic humans are good enough (not knocking the property or the great sculpts here, just speaking "toyetically) for NECA to market, I'd kill for a great Back to the Future line!

Sean bought the figs and we just had to pull this off.
              NECA quality is impressive.
I really see collectors buying into this niche of figures...and if they can pull this off, I can fully envision a Ralphie in a pink bunny suit with a leg lamp.

Sean’s really thinking a custom Penguin possibility..

Sculpts are good, and look at the quality of the outfits.

I'm going to buy the kid so my Freddy can chase him...

I could see that. And maybe a boy wonder Robin from the Culkin figure?

I just saw these at FYE in the mall. Quite nice looking sculpts, with the interchangeable heads, solid box & packaging. At $20 each it's a bit much for my budget.
Maybe after Christmas though if they clearance them or run on sale. Then I could tell the clerk " Keep the change ya filthy animal!"

                        Jeez, $20...
They're a solid $40 at my end of the pond. Now I feel robbed...

At retail, I have only seen these figures at $29.99. My daughter just returned from a trip to Universal Studios Florida and saw a ton of NECA product. She texted names of stuff she saw, which sounded like a NECA fanboy dream store, and prices there were $24.95.
